Confession: I've been feeling like a sell out. Wh Confession: I've been feeling like a sell out. What? Not the confession you were expecting? Second confession: Aries season has me feeling spicy. 🌶 I could feel change coming in the early months of last year...but I didn't know what. Then....chaos, emergency, and my own personal hell happened and there wasn't any choice beyond surrendering to doing nothing. The thing about dark nights of the soul? They create space for you to see what hasn't been illuminated. Finally I had to admit to myself that there was a big piece of myself that felt like a sell out for business taking more energy in my life than writing - when I practically came out of the womb spouting stories. Success? Great. Feeling fulfilled? Would be better. (Let's be honest, both is the only option for me.) The positive thing about so much personal crisis is that you HAVE to surrender. I couldn't force myself forward. I couldn't try new things. All I could do was wait - and allow lightning to strike when it wanted to. Lightning struck - and for the first time in ages, I was...nervous. Clear sign about the right path, right? I've been sitting with the logical approach to transition and pivot, because, hi, your girl likes strategy - when I had a dream the other night where someone (heyyyy) asked me "What would you do if you weren't trying to be logical? What would you do if you just did the thing?" What if? I simplified. I gave up some excuses. I dug through some resistance. And now that we're in the season of movement shifting, I'll just be like Angela Bassett and do the thing. Have guesses what I'm up to? Spill your ideas.

Confession: Mani-gen here, and I often have to remind myself that not everything has to happen immediately. (So it's okay if you still find yourself rushing the races.) It's okay to allow things to be an adventure. It's okay to let energy build. Give you - and your business - more space to build, and be. 💋

After I got a few DMs after my last post on what my Human Design *does* say I'm here to do, I realized that I could share a peek of the method to my madness. Honestly - this one feels weird to share because I'm not...watering it down. Some of you know that I use my own method of working with Human Design to dive into business aspects. While I was rabbitholing, I also wanted to dive deeper into what I'm truly here to do than I was originally taught. I wanted to look beyond my gifts and abilities to how my energy actually wants to be used. What wants to be transformed. What wants to be expressed. What wants light shined on it. Looking beyond just gates and channels, and into the planets. Last year I had to dig this all back up as during emergency hiatus I realized that...somewhere I'd shifted into doing what was easy for me, not what I'm here to do. (So easy to do, right?) So, this is my reminder - and anchor. Once you have this down, direction is easy - because you all have to do is ask if that goal is attached to one of the things you're here to do. 💋 Fun random HD fact: My conscious sun says I'm bad at taking advice from others, which....TRUE.

If you haven't heard, there's a lot of controversy If you haven't heard, there's a lot of controversy about the industry and the way we approach coaching. . ....which, about time. Current dynamic: Lots of influencer marketers, everyone is a coach, the best way to make money is to circle flirt more business coaches. What that's created: ➡️ people not knowing what type of mentorship they really need, and thinking any "coach" is the right type for them ➡️ people switching to being a "business coach" when their own business is stalling out ➡️ everyone is suddenly a seven figure business, even though statistically...most of them can't be ➡️ people who don't know how to educate or guide trying to do both because it's the "smart" business approach (I'm formally trained in business education, and about 1% of courses I've taken have followed best practices for education!) Moral of the story: Not everyone's a coach, and it's time to hold the industry accountable to that. Agree? Share this. 💋
